This app really falls short. The interface is confusing, options are few, and I can't even figure out how to handle system fonts. Plus, it keeps prompting me for a monthly fee every time I launch it! I can't even try out the so-called 'awesome' features, so I have no clue what they actually are. The free version just doesn't inspire confidence to spend any cash on it. I really hope we can get some solid font management tools like we used to have with Suitcase or Fontexplorer.

We're on the hunt for a new option to replace our cherished FontExplorer X. I reckon Font Base could be a step up for us. The cool thing is we can give it a shot for just $3 a month and see if it suits us over time.

I'll give five stars if there's a way to look up 'similar fonts'. That would make this app just right.

This thing operates just like those pricey options but at a fraction of the cost and uses way fewer resources.

My account isn't syncing properly, which means whenever I switch between devices, I end up having to re-upload all my fonts again.

If you're using a Windows PC, FontBase is truly fantastic! I've been using it for two years now without any problems.

I've been a fan of FontBase for quite some time now. Sure, the interface can get a little tricky at times, but overall, it's all good.

I threw in the towel on Suitcase/Connect (apologies for dropping competitor names) since it’s pretty much useless now. I decided to try out FontBase because of some good feedback from users. Getting started was a tad perplexing (not the clearest -- couldn’t find any help or documentation), but it appears to function well now, at least with Adobe InDesign.

Awesome interface, fantastic user experience without any assistance required. You can jump right into your next project feeling confident that you’re well-supported.

The software runs really slow when I try to look at the font folders.

For instance, it’d be way better if I could see all the fonts in the main left window without having to dig into the subfolders on the first column. Opening those subfolders takes ages, especially if you’ve got a ton of font types.

Also, we’re still facing issues with the new processor on Mac and Fotbase. The only way to get it to work is by clicking the Illustrator start icon and selecting the option to open with Rosetta. If that step is skipped, the auto-activate feature for fonts just doesn’t function.

Additionally, it would be great if the software could handle PostScript fonts, since we’ve got a massive collection in that format, and it’s a real shame to lose access to them.

I've been a Suitcase user for a long time, but man, it just became way too costly. FontBase does pretty much the same thing for a fraction of what I was paying. It's intuitive and super easy to navigate.

As someone in the printing and graphic design field, I require access to a massive collection of fonts. Our existing server holds more than 50,000 fonts, and honestly, installing all of them isn't practical. I really appreciate being able to activate just the fonts I need, plus the feature that lets me quickly browse and preview fonts is super handy. It works great with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Definitely worth a shoutout!

I gotta say, I enjoy the program, but there are some parts that leave me scratching my head and feeling a bit annoyed.

This is just as great as any font management tool I've tried, and it's totally worth the low cost.

Which application can manage fonts on Windows with such grace and efficiency? FontBase is super budget-friendly, well-designed, user-friendly, and, above all, it’s really handy! It boosts my entire workflow.

I can totally see some UI updates and additional options for visualizing and sorting fonts down the line.
